Day 1 – Sierra Nevada
Transfer from Santa Marta Airport to Casa Oropéndola with English-speaking driver. NOTE • Between Minca and the lodge, the transfer includes 45 minutes (15 km) of off-roading in a traditional 4×4 SUV, which is the vehicle adequate for the mountainous terrain in the Sierra Nevada.
Includes: Transportation with Spanish-speaking driver, Host, Hydration. Duration: 1h 30mins . Lunch and dinner will be provided on-site by the chef.
Day 2 Trekking
10:00 AM • Guests can choose from short 1-3 hours treks, to more demanding 6-8 hour treks to visit spectacular waterfalls. At Casa Oropéndola, guests can find trekking poles and water bottles, and the chef will prepare snacks and a picnic lunch to enjoy along the way.
Day 3 – Coffee Hacienda La Victoria
Walk down to Hacienda La Victoria, founded in 1892, walk through the hacienda’s spectacular processing center, where traditional equipment from the early 20th century is still used. With a guide, learn about coffee harvesting and the washing and drying processes. Duration: 20 minutes driving and 45-60 minutes walking • NOTE: It is recommended to walk down and take a 4×4 back to the lodge. Please note the experience might not be private at the Hacienda. Day 4 – Tayrona
Transfer from Casa Oropéndola to Parque Tayrona. NOTE • Between Minca and the lodge, the transfer includes 45 minutes (15 km) of off-roading in a traditional 4×4 SUV, which is the vehicle adequate for the mountainous terrain in the Sierra Nevada.

VILLA PLAYA • Check in at your hotel. Rooms will be ready at 3:00 PM. Please note that the staff does not speak English, Wi-Fi signal is limited to some of the social areas.
Day 5 -River Expedition
Drive to the banks of Don Diego river, and after a short trek, go down the river paddle boarding, kayaking, or tubing all the way down to the ocean. Along the way enjoy the view of the jungle, exotic birds, howler monkeys, and small Caymans which are harmless and very shy! • NOTE: Don’t forget to wear long trousers, closed shoes, wet suit or bathing suit and take your refillable water bottle. Sunscreen and insect repellent are a must! • NOTE: Please reconfirm in advance your choice between paddle board, kayak or tubes in order to guarantee availability. Guests can visit the Tayronaka ruins, entrance fee of 25,000 COP is to be paid in cash directly upon arrival.

PICNIC LUNCH • Enjoy a light lunch on a private picnic while enjoying an outstanding view of the ocean! • NOTE: This picnic includes a light lunch and an advance set up with gazebo in a exclusive area.
Day 6 – Nature & trekking
Explore the jungles, rivers and cascades of the Tayrona region with treks ranging from 2 to 3 hours. Discuss with your host the route options that best fit your interests and physical endurance. • NOTE: Don’t forget to wear long pants and comfortable shoes, bring bathing suit, extra clothes and your refillable water bottle. Sunscreen and insect repellent are a must!

Day 7 – Tayrona – Cafrtagena
Meet your driver at the hotel lobby and your English speaking host for a private 4.5 hour transfer to Barichara. Transportation, Hydration, English Speaking Host, Duration: 4.5 Hours. arrival CASA SAN AGUSTIN • Check in at your hotel. Rooms will be ready at 3:00 PM

Day 8 – Walking tour
Enjoy your morning at leisure. 3:00pm STORIES & PEOPLE OF THE CENTRO – wander the streets of Carganena historic center a UNESCO world Heritage Site. Alongside a fascinating expert who will provide in-depth historical context and captivating stories of the city’s people and culture. NOTE don’t forget your confortable shoes, hat ad sunscreen Duration 2.30 hours
Day 9 – Caribbean cooking
A local chef will teach you how to make some of Cartagena’s most typical dishes such as ceviche, seafood soup in coconut milk and white wine, coconut rice, plantain chips, and a few other Colombian secrets. The menu can be designed based on your preferences. The class takes place at a private location in the Old City. • NOTE: Menu can be adapted for cooking with children. Please let us know of any dietary requirements or allergies.

Day 10 – Islas del Rosario
Meet your driver and local host at the hotel for a private transfer to Cartagena’s dock where your boat will be waiting. Aboard a 38-foot speedboat, and depart towards the Islas del Rosario archipelago, located 50-minutes from Cartagena. These rugged islands are blessed with clear blue waters, colorful coral reefs, and diverse marine life. Spend the day cruising between island and snorkel at your leisure. You will be accompanied by an English-speaking host who will look after you for the day. Please request our speedboat and yacht options to upgrade to a bigger boat, and our Snacks and Drinks menu to find your selection of wines, beers, liquors, and snacks when you board the boat. • NOTE: Please bring cash with you as some island restaurants don’t accept CC.
Day 11-Transfer out
Meet your English-speaking Host and driver at the hotel lobby for a private transfer to Cartagena’s Rafael Nuñez International Airport. Approximate transfer time is 15 minutes.
