Cordoba
Córdoba is Argentina’s second largest city, situated in Argentina’s beautiful sierra region—an area punctuated with golden, rolling hillsides and shimmering lakes. Although decidedly modern and progressive, Córdoba was founded in 1573 and its architecture features a fascinating blend of Jesuit ruins and some of the best-preserved colonial buildings in the country. All of this fused with a buzzing arts scene and a university vibe. Be sure to try a Fernet and Coke during your time in Córdoba; it’s Argentina’s national drink and it pairs nicely from the electric-tango music you might hear coming from the student bars during your visit!
